Little Fears - Role-playing Game

Your sister has been kidnapped and taken to the depths of the Realm of the Demon-Lord Amduscias, who needs the life force of young women to open the Gates of Hades and wreak havoc and destruction upon everything you know and love. It's only you and your ragtag party who are aware of this. Heavily outnumbered you have another problem, everyone else thinks you are being silly, that monsters and demons aren't real.
Then again, you are only eight years old.
Little Fears asks the question;
'What if every single thing you believed as a kid was terrifyingly real; the Bogeyman, The Man with the Sack, but also your imaginary friends'?
In the genre of Survival Horror this game stands out as your character faces the greatest disadvantages, ones that we ourselves suffered as kids, feeling we couldn't control a hostile world.
Besides Monsters, the characters of Little Fears also have to deal with real-life horrors; bullies, abusive teenagers, criminals and other abusive adults. The game still offers a very real possibility of Kids being shot to death, kidnapped or abused.
I offer this game in PDF form as it has been out of print for a long time and copies on eBay are rare and expensive (starting at $150). As a bonus you can listen to the unofficial soundtrack the Industrial Band Janus composed for the German version of the game.

The robot who rode with Pancho Villa

Why didn't anyone tell me that eBoilerplat, the mechanical man invented by Archibald Campion in 1893, fought alongside the Villistas against the Carrancistas in the siege of Guerrero in 1916?
It is details such as this that make me extremely disappointed in the Mexican Educational system, if only my Mexico History class had had less memorization of useless dates and names and more steam-powered mechanical men I would have made honor roll every single month!
Of course, Heidi aced history every month without needing robots or dinosaurs, but me... Some educational aids would have been handy instead of my spending the whole class figuring out why my History teacher was nicknamed "The She-wolf of the SS".

And they didn't ask it in the bimonthly exam, dang!

The art of Funky Paper Friends

We are two artists, Heidi Hinojosa, graphic designer and fashion guru and C. Augusto Valdés, playwright and critical thinker. We will be using this space to showcase the things we do and the things we like. If we see or listen to something rare and beautiful we will let you know.
Let's start things over by sharing the weird discovery that lead to the creation of this space;



Someone decided to take Heidi and I to create merchandise and they didn't even tell us! A paper doll called Monsieur Gus at Heidi dot com, that is intended to be the next internet meme, you are supposed to print Monsieur Gus and assemble it for some photoshoots.
We contacted the lawyers about a possible suit but we decided against it, because the unassembled doll is so unflattering, so I am better off disowning it and playing along.
Besides, we are going to create much better things here, so, enjoy!
